2024 Pilgrimages - by Mountain Butorac
I hope your year is off to a great start! While much of the US is freezing, it’s a sunny 61ºF here in Rome!
I have lots of pilgrimages planned for 2024, and wanted to be sure you knew what was coming up.
This trip sold out in nine minutes, but I just had three people switch to another trip. This will be my last Rome, Just Rome trip for a while. This itinerary has been a huge success, but I don’t have space for another one until the end of the year. There are several other Rome opportunities, as you’ll see below.

Sold out immediately. I’ll probably offer this again in 2025.
This is a replacement pilgrimage for a cancelled Holy Land trip over the same dates.
Paid Substack subscribers will have first access to this one later this week. If any space is left, it will be open to everyone else. But I already have a waitlist of over 200 people waiting for details.
We start in Rome opening the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel and then head to Assisi for three nights and end with three nights in Florence.
Paid Substack subscribers can sign up tomorrow.

This was supposed to be a parish pilgrimage, but it looks like I will be able to open some of the space on Monday.

Identical pilgrimage. Sold out right away, and I have a waitlist of 30 people. I suspect some of those will sign up for the May trip.
I love my Ireland pilgrimages. I love all my pilgrimages, but Ireland is just so refreshing. This will be my first time back with a group since 2018.
Paid Substack subscribers will have first access to this one in a few weeks. If any space is left, it will be open to everyone else. But this one also has a waitlist of over 200 people waiting for details.
I’ve been offering some variation of this itinerary since 2005 and have crafted it to include some unique experiences that no other pilgrimage or tour group offers. Of course we will be opening the Sistine Chapel, but there are plenty of other exciting experiences scheduled.
I don’t often do midsummer Italy trips, but so many have been asking.

Sold out right away. I really want to offer another one because this has become one of my favorite itineraries.

October 2024 will be the 25th anniversary of my first visit to Italy. So I’m going to recreate it! I’ll be upgrading the accommodations and meals from my first visit 😂 but we will be doing much of the same itinerary… Rome, Assisi, Florence, and Loreto.
Let’s pray the Holy Land is stable by November! This trip sold out in five minutes when it was announced and just about everyone has remained committed to going.
After the success of my Danube River Cruise, I decided to do another. The ship is reserved, the dates are locked in, and I am just working on the itinerary. Since it’s a pilgrimage, and I have the ship, I want to be sure we not only hit the popular places along the way, but also the off the beaten path churches, hard to find relics, and best meals.
There are a few others I’m working on, but they are not ready yet. For all the trips above, details are available on my website. There you can also sign up for the waitlists for each trip.
And if you want in on the early access, consider becoming a paid subscriber. You not only get benefits like this, but it helps support my work in bringing my travels to you.
Thanks for being here!
