About Steve Berger's "New" Church
A few quick updates! (Forgive me, it's unpolished.)
Yesterday in my research, I realized that One Home Church, the Fairview church where Pastor Steve Berger happens to preach at as pastor emeritus these days… It's not just some new church that welcomed Steve when he left Gave Chapel, the church he founded in Franklin, Tennessee.
I came across this article in The Tennessean:
As it turns out, Grace Chapel in Franklin already had at least 900 people who were bussed into Franklin from Fairview to attend Grace Chapel. In 2019.
They were building small groups, and preparing to open Grace Chapel Fairview that summer.
And apparently, they did open that church in 2019… with Grace Chapel Pastor Ian Gilchrist.
Pastor Gilchrist was there for both Grace Chapel Fairview AND One Home Church as it's known today.
So, I went to the “new” church's Facebook page, and saw that they were indeed Grace Chapel Fairview.
It may not be a big deal, right?
But I was shocked. I never once heard Steve Berger talk about One Home Church as beginning as a branch of Grace Chapel.
The lack of transparency was concerning, and most people I've asked about it were just as surprised as me.
I posted about it on Instagram, and then, do you know what happened?
Pastor Steve blocked me. 😂😂😂
Perhaps I struck a nerve…
What would Jesus do?
Block writers with questions?
Well, perhaps the good news is that Pastor Steve has announced a brand new series…
BUCKLE UP, FOLKS.
I suspect that Steve is setting the stage to reframe the upcoming Nancy Grace episode (it's almost done, I believe) as another satanic attack.
Things should get interesting!
