I hope you are enjoying your summer which is, by the way, not yet finished.
I took my time to slow down, to read and think and enjoy life. Among other things I did, I explored (again) the fascinating Zine universe.
Besides making them (which is greatly rewarding) I wanted to to understand how you can translate an idea to a Zine.
Well… what better occasion to practice my favorite methodology?

Nice Zines: a really nice website with a lot of info end resources. You can find them in Instagram too.
The Fanac: an incredible archive of fanzines. Regularly updated, it goes back to 1930. You can see zines typewritten or reproduced with mimeograph. Amazing!
Future Fantasteek!: “…brings together a trichotomy of investigation; art-zines and independent publishing; artist as social commentator and drawing as a means of immediate visual communication.” Just look at those zines!!!
