Bywaters - Laura Thompsons Substack

Today, 101 years ago at 9am, Edith Thompson and Frederick Bywaters were hanged simultaneously for the murder of Edith’s husband, Percy. Edith, who had turned 29 on Christmas Day, died at the now-demolished Holloway gaol; her lover Freddy, who was just 20, a couple of miles away at Pentonville.
