Cathleen, it is my current comprehension that the dangerously mislabeled "Green Revolution" starting in the 1950s — with its then DDT and now other herbicides/pesticides, terrible large-scale mono-cropping practices, GMO seeds, anhydrous ammonia application, and so on — is responsible for disrupting the natural food chain. I say this in response to your comment, because I grew up in the 60s/70s on a family farm in the Midwest, where none of those death-cult practices were going on. We had a huge garden every year, yet we never had such pesky critters. Not even the deer, which were in abundance in rural Wisconsin, bothered to come eat our greens, or even the roses, several varieties of which grew all over our property. We had lots of pew-pews, but my dad and brothers never needed to use them (or traps) for ridding the property of "cute furry creatures." The pew-pews came out during deer hunting season, which, again, I believe became a practice of the death-cult in the first place. Still, I know that there are other ways to deter those creatures without stealing their lives.

In the end, I am not sure why you felt compelled to share your argument in favor of killing animals, other than perhaps you need to justify your addiction to rich-tasting animal products. Whatever your situation is regarding this matter, I do wish you well and good health.
