His audience was his players, who had just played tough, in the sweat and dirt, hitting and being hit, risking life and limb and ankles and ribs for their team-mates. It was the fuckin locker room. Maybe reporters should be banned, or screened with questions about their sensitivities. Our coach is completely appropriate in firing up his team, at their home base, both before and after a game, especially against a "hated" rival, especially against those assholes from UNC. This article, Jim, sounds like you're one of those oh-so-holier-than-thou proper young men and women from blue heaven. I thought I knew you better than that. My rant is now over.
