Friday cartoons - by Zoe Si
You know how you always act like no one can see or hear you once you get into your car, and how that is not at all the case?
Yeah!!! Oh well.
Things continue to be a little chaotic, but I am rescued by the privacy (not) of my vehicle and the existence of the Jewish bakery (Solly’s! Their babka is my favourite stress snack/anytime treat/birthday cake stand-in, and I’d often go for early runs around the seawall and then stop in for an egg bagel sandwich for breakfast after)
On a brighter note, the weather has been *absolutely gorgeous* which means we get to ride our bikes around town in warm evening air! on weekdays, even!!! one of the best and most heavenly things.
I mean really! The trees in East Vancouver give me life.
I also got a new coffee maker - a Moka Pot - which has already changed my life.
I’m saving the punchline for a New Yorker pitch, and you will either see it on the New Yorker or back on here if it gets rejected, haha.
Have a great weekend, thanks for reading!
