Next-gen Web3 Job Marketplace has been launched: SYNAPSS
Today we’re very excited to announce the release of our new product SYNAPSS, the next-gen web3 job marketplace with highly trustworthy resume.
SYNAPSS is a global job platform service focused on talent in the Web3 space, including blockchain, DeFi, NFTs, BCG, and GameFi. Companies looking to hire can search for Web3 talent based on reliable digital resumes called "VESS Resumes," which utilize decentralized identity (DID/VC) technology. Additionally, employers can easily issue verifiable credentials for their newly hired talents' work experience.
We had been accepting pre-registrations before the release, and currently, more than 700 talents have registered on our waitlist. As for companies looking to post job openings, over 70 Web3 enterprises, including prominent companies and projects such as Polygon Technologies, Harmony, and Ceramic Network, have signed up on our waitlist, and we plan to gradually begin posting job listings.
SYNAPSS aims to address the following two challenges:
First is the shortage of talent due to the recent surge in Web3's popularity. Currently, there are limited opportunities for Web3-focused companies and talents to connect, forcing both sides to rely on inefficient hiring practices through social media platforms like Twitter and generic job platforms featuring various industries. As a specialized Web3 platform, SYNAPSS enables speedy access to Web3 talent.
The second challenge is the transformation of existing hiring processes. The traditional recruitment flow based on self-reported resumes has been problematic due to resume fraud, inconsistent data formats across platforms, and a lack of information about candidates. This has made it difficult and costly to understand candidates' work history and achievements. SYNAPSS aims to change the way recruitment is conducted by utilizing reliable digital resumes based on decentralized identity and verifiable credentials.
Talents can create their own digital resumes, known as VESS Resumes, by connecting their wallets, such as MetaMask, to the platform. These digital resumes allow users to easily carry and use their work history across different platforms. The information displayed on the digital resume includes not only the user's self-reported resume information but also verifiable credentials in the form of achievements and work history issued by companies, as well as accomplishments from work conducted through SYNAPSS, which are automatically accumulated.
Web3 projects and companies must first create an organization account. Afterward, they can easily publish job listings on SYNAPSS by registering job information such as job type, work style, and required skills through a dedicated management dashboard. In addition to full-time and part-time job listings, it is also possible to recruit interns and contributors.
