Legendary Magic: The Gathering illustrator Richard Kane Ferguson has launched a brand new Kickstarter campaign, featuring his extensive catalog of Magic illustrations as both prints and playmats!
With nearly 100 cards under his belt since beginning with the game in 1994, this project will feature some of RKF’s most popular designs, all digitally extended to fit the parameters of a playmat. Five designs are available at the outset: Force of Will, and each of his four Tutor cards:
Stretch goals are also already in the works, with the first at $25,000 featuring Elenda, the Dusk Rose! More stretch goals, and more exciting artwork, are sure to follow.
Each extended-art playmat has the option to add a high-quality stitched edge or Certificate of Authenticity, and will only be printed to demand (rounded to the nearest 50), NEVER to be printed again. Each will also come signed by the artist, and RKF has one of the best signatures in the business.
To finish, most artworks will be available as limited edition, extended art 14” x 11” archival watercolor giclée, each hand-signed and numbered.
