To dare is to do.
The very first time I came across this phrase or better still, slogan or let just called it motto was when Tottenham Hotspur, an English premier league club moved into their new £400M stadium.
This popular slogan (To dare is to do) was plastered everywhere in the new stadium which made me curious to actually find out its exact meaning and how it relates to the fortunes of a football club.
While doing a little research, well I have been developing interest in researches these days, I can’t pinpoint any reasons to that yet, but don’t let me digress, I found out that it’s a latin phrase Audeat-est-facere, or as it is known in English, ‘To Dare is to Do’.
So what does it exactly means to dare and to do?
According to Aman Tukrel, he says: it basically means that you need to believe in what you want to achieve and put that belief into action. It may be unprecedented and unaccustomed, but if you dare to achieve, strive for it. It’s okay if you don’t make it. But only those who dare to try, make it.
Tukrel last words resonates with me big time, it’s okay if you don’t make it but only those who dares to try, makes it.
Continue putting in the work, continue trying, continue to improve yourself, there are higher chances that you will be successful when you do all these than when you don’t, so continue to dare and do, I’m rooting for you.
See you on the other side, peace and love.
