Roughly a year after I launched my website plutoastrology.net I am starting this substack for a couple of reasons. Number 1: I need to find new channels to expand my audience. Number 2: If you are not on Instagram, I still want to give you the opportunity to be notified whenever I publish a new blog post on my blog.

I know, I know, there are many people today who think they have a great many things to say whether anyone agrees with them or not. Everyone wants an audience; the competition for attention is reaching Leonian levels of absurdity. And yet, I really think I have something unique to offer here. What you will get from me is:

• Insight into the world of Evolutionary Astrology, whether you are part of the EA community or not. I know, the Pluto paradigm is kind of too deep and too weird, the odd one out in the world of astrology. But isn’t it also kind of interesting? Here you get to peek into the world of EA without really having to bother with the nuts and bolts or - for that matter - the hefty disagreements that have been plaguing this branch of astrology. If you decide you study EA at some point in the future, think of my blog as a gateway, an entry point that can let you digest this hardcore, Scorpionic energy at your own leisure, one little blog post at a time.

• Not your auntie’s writings about the wonderful energies we will all be bathing in during the next Full Moon in Taurus. Look, I don’t mean to be condescending but the web is already chock-full of this kind of stuff. From me, what you will get is a collection of in-depth chart analyses, in-depth descriptions of the astrological archetypes, in-depth mundane astrology, and a few more lighthearted themes in-between. I also want to write about the art of counseling, maybe share some personal anecdotes (and personal chart placements!) from time to time, and in the long run I want to do interviews with other astrologers. Book reviews could also become a thing. Not all of it will be sooo specific to EA, either. I don’t just want to preach the merits of a particular paradigm, I want to be open-minded and learn from others, and I hope this is also something that will be reflected in my blog.

As I begin this substack, the idea is still to use it to redirect people to my website and blog by posting short introductions to the blog posts here. In the long run, maybe I will also publish some blog posts here in full. In either case, all you need to do to be notified is to type in your email and hit the Subscribe button! If you are already following me on Instagram, you should not miss anything unless perhaps if you are already following many hundreds of people. You may still want to subscribe in case this substack expands somehow in the future!

Very soon, I will begin publishing my article series Pluto through the Social Signs on my blog. It is a series of posts covering significant astrological trends and events during the time Pluto has been in Sagittarius and Capricorn, as well as an attempt to look into the future to see what comes next, during the era of Pluto in Aquarius. I will also cover the archetypes of Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius in depth.

The article series has expanded beyond its original scope, which means that it will now also cover a set of guiding principles for mundane astrological analysis. Be sure not to miss it! With my transiting Saturn now well inside the third house, I think I am really onto something here.
