Where Does the Sun Go?
Where does the sun go at night? You fade, you fade as you go, dipping lower, low in the sky. You glow, you glow, shifting from bright to light to dusk to dark, but you are still here with us, and the wheel keeps on turning. Where does the sun go at night? Are you ducking under clouds, hiding shyly, standing back? You radiate warmth from afar, lending a hand in your quiet way, from behind the scenes. Your light is not always visible, but you are here with us, and the wheel keeps on turning. Where does the sun go at night? Behind the moon, beaming rays in some other plain, resting in our dreams. Where did you go, are you still there? Will we see you rising in the morning, glowing, shining, warming the dawn once again? Is the sun really in the sky or is it in our hearts? And the wheel keeps turning.
