Why The Media's New 'Bloodbath' Hoax Matters for Energy
You have probably noticed by now that America’s corrupt legacy media is running yet another hoax targeting Donald Trump, this one claiming that he threatened America with a “bloodbath” if he isn’t elected in November. It’s a completely false claim, but hey, so were Russia collusion and about a hundred other media hoaxes over the past 8 years, so what’s new? They generate clicks and attract viewers, and that’s all our media cares about anymore.
The only true aspect of this current hoax is that Trump did indeed use the word “bloodbath” during his speech in Dayton, Ohio on Saturday. What the entirety of the US media is leaving out, though, is the context in which he used the word.
That context is why this issue is actually about the energy transition, and how China’s carmakers are planning to do an end-run around weak federal tariff policies and establish a pipeline to export their cars into the United States via Mexico. They’re doing that already by building a series of factories in Mexico at which their cars will be assembled using parts imported from China.
